FiLIA would like to give you some valuable advice of how your favourite Jewellery can remain clean and protected:

It is recommended to keep your jewellery away from liquids and mainly from chlorine & sea waters, because direct contact with these liquids may damage the finishing of your jewellery.

You should wear your Jewellery after you have applied hairsprays, perfumes, cosmetics & lotions. These products may contain acidic components that react with your Jewellery. Remember, any kind of chemicals may cause damage on them!

It is best to store your jewellery pieces separately in air-tight zip-lock bags or suitable jewellery pouches or boxes. This will prevent scratches on your jewellery and at the same time will protect them from warm and humid environments.

It is recommended to avoid your jewellery to come in contact with direct sunlight, cold or hot weather and humidity. Sterling Silver will be oxidised.      

It is not recommended to wear jewellery while your are sleeping, having a bath or doing exercise. Even our sweat or our skin type can affect the finishing of our jewellery.

How you can clean and polish silver jewellery:

In a cup of warm water drop a few amounts of dish detergent. Add a half tea spoon baking soda and mixed them up. Put your silver jewellery inside and scrub gently with a soft clean toothbrush for 5-10 minutes.

Important note:

Jewels with patina should not be cleaned and they should not be wiped with dry jewellery polishing cloth!
